Supply chain

You have probably heard that these days there can quickly be massive supply problems. No wonder! Even the navigational error of a single ship in the Suez Canal can upset international supply chains and thus impair production processes. That's why we rely on suppliers from the region wherever possible.

Regionality
Our principle: Think global, act local!
We believe that this principle provides the best basis - for the environment, the partnership with our suppliers and, last but not least, for the product quality that you as our customer can expect. Short distances and reduced transport of goods enable us to keep CO2 emissions to a minimum and to act more independently of any global supply bottlenecks.

Supplier relations
Our understanding: You always talk to partners at eye level.
Our goal is to establish long-term partnerships with our suppliers. So far, this has worked very well, because we have been working with more than half of them for more than 20 years. We are convinced that this is the only way to create and continuously improve optimal workflows and processes. For us, this cooperation at eye level means that we stand by our partners even in times of crisis. If, for example, a partner encounters difficulties due to forces beyond their control, we stand by them. For us, this is a matter of course which we think should be practiced much more often.

Supplier audits
Our concept: Working together strongly against weak points.
In order to be able to offer you the highest possible product quality in the end, we have to make sure that our suppliers also “deliver“as well as possible. The more efficiently and smoothly the cooperation works, the less stress and unnecessary costs arise and the better resources are conserved. If, for example, parts of a supplier's goods did not meet our requirements, we would not be able to process them. To prevent such situations, we conduct supplier audits that examine the suppliers' procedures and processes. We then work together on solutions to improve weak points. These audits are repeated regularly to ensure that quality remains at such a good level.
